Fascinating study reported by the BBC: Horses recognise human emotions Horses are able to discriminate between happy and angry human facial expressions, according to research. In an experiment using photographs of male human faces, scientists from the University of Sussex showed that domestic horses "responded negatively" to angry expressions. The scientists say domestication may have enabled horses to adapt to and interpret human behaviour. Hack Off Cancer, sponsored horse ride over Watergrove Reservoir was held on Sunday 1 November and was sponsored by horseandmore.co.ukThe weather was sunny and perfect for horses and riders to see the stunning scenery above the moors over looking Wardle, Rochdale and Whitworth. There were 70 riders participating in the event, lots of them wearing pink to raise awareness for breast cancer and some were wearing Halloween costumes.
