Mayo Stable Bed Guarantee
The Mayo Mattress has been designed to have a performing life-expectancy of over fifteen years. The Mayo Original has been designed to have a performing life expectancy of over twenty years. The Mayo Eco has been designed to have a performing life expectancy of over ten years. All of our beds are no-quibble guaranteed for 10 years under the following conditions:
- They must be fitted on a smooth level concrete base (a uniformly sloped floor for drainage does not impact the guarantee). There must be no undulations in the floor beneath as this could cause undue pressure to be exerted on points of the mat and may cause them to fail prematurely at those points thus voiding the guarantee.
- Mayo beds must be fitted as instructed by Mayo. Mats fitted in a way that does not conform to our guidelines will not hold their guarantee.
- Mayo beds must be trimmed if final expansion requires it to maintain their guarantee.
- Loose bedding must not be allowed to pile up underneath the mats as this is the same as having a floor that is not smooth and hard and it will void the guarantee.
- When unpacking Mayo beds, extreme care must be taken not to cut the mats as any nicks at the edges could become splits which are not covered under the guarantee.
- Any incisions made to the mats (by a knife, fork, road tacks, rough concrete, etc.) will void the guarantee.
- Mayo beds are not guaranteed for outdoor use.
- Mayo beds are not guaranteed for any use other than as an animal bed.
- Mayo beds will not hold their guarantee if damaged in any way while stored outside before installation.
- Mayo Eco mats are guaranteed under animals up to 300KG in weight.
- Mayo Mattresses and Mayo Originals are guaranteed under any weight of horse.
- In very rare cases some horses' urine can bleach the dye we use to make the mats black. This has no impact upon the functionality, comfort or hygiene of the bed and therefore does not fall under guarantee
