The first Hy diamante head collar winner is Vicky and her beautiful horse Bleu.
Vicky says "A year ago I re-homed Bleu from a rescue. He had been starved and his hooves were soft like skin. The rescue informed me that Bleu would always have to be shod as his feet where so soft and without shoes he was lame.
My farrier tried different shoes but unfortunately bleu kept losing them and suggested cavallo hoof boots. I bought them from Horse and More and received exceptional service and advice as I had no prior knowledge of hoof boots.
Bleu has worn his boots whilst turned out all throughout winter and his hooves have made a remarkable recovery. 6 months on he's barefoot and sound only wearing his boots when hacking out. The boots have lasted well (despite the mud) and still fit well.
We'll definitely be buying some more in the near future!"
