The first winner of a Horse and More goodie box for sharing their barefoot story with us is Karen...
Karen's horse Tonto had terrible feet. July last year Karen was at her wits end with Tonto's feet and shoes as he was always casting a shoe, so much so that he only managed to keep them on for three weeks at a time. Karen then spoke to her farrier who was dubious at first about going barefoot. He suggested boots would be a must.
Twelve months on, Karen and Tonto have never looked back. Now they dressage barefoot and hack out in boots.
Karen admits that they are the best thing she have ever bought for her high maintenance horse.
